I had the pleasure of working for George on both the Florida Turnpike and at UNC Chapel Hill. He was without a doubt the greatest person I ever worked for. I got to know George outside of work and learned of his passions in life. First was his wife and family, second was the world in which we live and third was his fellow man. I can still remember many of the conversations and experiences we shared. Thw world has lost a Great Man and George will be missed by all. I wish I had kept better in touch with he and his wife Jackie.
