Leila Gonzalez Cabe, 79, of Franklin, passed away Friday, 5, 2015.
Born in Las Maria, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Enrique Gonzalez and Monserrate Torres. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers and a granddaughter. Leila attended Union United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, David C. Cabe; five children, Leila E. Arocho of Jacksonville, FL, Elaine Ferrari of Melville, NY, Victor Arocho of Pembroke Pines, FL, Jess Cabe of Bottineau, ND and Rosemary Wilkes of Brooklyn, NY and sister, Doris Quinones of La Grange, CA; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 7th at 3 PM at Union United Methodist Church. Rev. Janet Greene will officiate. Burial will be in Union United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jack Hodgin, James Woods, Victor Arocho, Larry Ledford, Marlin Keener and Jim McConnell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Mann and members of the Macon County Coon Hunters Association.
