Gene was a great mentor to me he taught me a lot of stuff. He taught me how to sandblast headstones and also how to set headstones,(the right way). He told me that I was a natural at this and said remember this one thing, always do your best on a headstone because the family will always see it but they want remember what their loved was wearing or what color the casket was 10 years from now but they'll always see your work on the headstone. I will miss him greatly but I will never forget him you will be greatly missed.
