Obituary for Justin Daniel Henry
Justin Daniel Henry, 24, of Franklin, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017.
A native of Macon Co, he was the son of Michael Dee Henry and Teresa Broom Ensley. Justin loved military history and guns; he also enjoyed hiking, camping and being outdoors. Above all, he loved his family. He was a member of Prentiss Church of God. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Bill and Janice Henry of Cullowhee, NC and Wayne and Mildred Broom of Tuckasegee, NC; one brother, Michael Austin Henry of Franklin; one sister; Trista Henry Williams and husband Bobby of Franklin; one niece, Holly Williams and aunts and uncles, Bonnie Gunter and husband Bobby of Cullowhee, NC, Gary Henry and wife Kim of Cullowhee, NC, Gary Broom and wife Lisa of Sylva, Tony Broom of Tuckasegee, NC, Tammy Allen and husband Jed of Sylva and Tina Broom of Clyde, NC. He is also survived by many cousins, who were more like brothers and sisters; Lindsey Parris and Cole Henry of Cullowhee, Crissi and Lori Childers of Cullowhee, Steven and Trevor Broom of Sylva, Douglas, Shaneka and Tierra Allen of Sylva and Dakota and Jarred Brown of Clyde.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Lindsey Parris, Cole Henry, Crissi and Lori Childers, Steven and Trevor Broom, Douglas, Shaneka and Tierra Allen and Dakota and Jarred Brown.
Memorial donations may be made to Men’s Teen Challenge of the Smokies, C/O Mike Barres, PO Box 2157, Franklin, NC, 28744.
