Jeromy and Audrey, Our sons were classmates in daycare. I only heard on the 16th and haven't had any peace since. I am so sorry, because as disturbed as I am by this news, I know I can not understand your pain right now. Words all fail. I am feeling the echo of your hurt, fearing deeply the reality of loss. Here there is no "right thing to say" because nothing will undo this awful tragedy. I am just a parent crying alongside you, as I'm sure many, many more are. I don't know what to say, but I have to be ramble like this because I can't just say nothing anymore. I am so, so sorry for your loss. I can only trust your little boy to Jesus' care, and I beg our Lord for His grace and mercy. May God help us all. May your sweet boy remind Jesus to remember us from his place in His arms. It must be so, because I can see no other reality to heal this hurt. May God bless you and send you his comfort. Mass is being said for him tomorrow night at St. Mary's in Sylva.
