With deepest sympathy for the passing of Mr. Roberts. I cannot imagine the loss you and your family are experiencing at this time. I can only think of how it would feel losing my father to an illness. However, we are given a promise in God's word the bible that says one day "no resident will say I am sick".(Is 33:24)
May you receive peace and comfort from our heavenly Father during this time of bereavement.
