Obituary for Jeffrey Scott Angel

Jeffery Scott Angel, 49, passed away at his home in Stone Mountain, GA on May 1, 2015.
He was born in Franklin, NC on January 22, 1966, was raised in Toccoa and lived in the Roswell and Stone Mountain areas for almost 20 years.
Jeff was survived by his father and mother, Dan and Sandra Angel; sister, Melanie and grandfather, Hiram “Mac” Babb all of Toccoa and an Uncle Richard Angel of Walland, TN. He graduated from Stephens County High School and received a twelve year perfect attendance award. He then attended North Georgia Technical School and Piedmont College and received an Associate Degree in Electronics. Jeff belonged to Boy Scout Troop 77 where he received his God and Country and Eagle Scout awards. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Toccoa, a ham radio operator and instructor, member of Toccoa Masonic Lodge #309 F & AM and Yaarab Shrine.
Jeff worked for the Department of Corrections and Department of Transportation but his primary and most recent job was Systems Administrator II for the Georgia Real Estate Commission and Appraisal Board in Atlanta.
A memorial service will take place at the First United Methodist Church of Toccoa on Tuesday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Franklin, NC at a later date.
Flowers are to omitted, however, memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church, 333 E. Tugalo St. Toccoa, GA 30577.
