Jerry Dee Collier, 40, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.

Born in Macon Co, he was the son of JD Collier and Edith Marie Hopkins Sullivan. He was preceded in death by son, Jerry Dee Collier, Jr. Jerry was a member of the Coon Hunters Association and lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed ginseng digging, hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Debbie Collier of Franklin; son, Tyler Lee Collier of Franklin; daughter, Felicia Earls of Hickory, NC; step-daughter, Priscilla Kirkland of Kingsland, GA; step-father, Gary Sullivan of Fletcher, NC; grandmother, Margie Hopkins of Franklin; brother, Jimmy Lee Collier of Franklin; sister, Brenda Jean Collier and fiancé, Timothy of Candler, NC; three nephews; three nieces; several great nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14th at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev. Frank Rodriguez and Rev. Joshua Helton will officiate. Burial will be in Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Friday, March 13th at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Bugg, Daniel Bugg, Ray Bugg, Jim Brown, Will Shuler and Keith Cowart.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Funeral Home, PO Box 1175, Franklin, NC 28744 to help with funeral expenses.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
