Obituary for Frank Eugene Hooper

Frank Eugene  Hooper
Frank Eugene Hooper, 65, of Franklin, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014.

Born in Jackson County, he was the son the late Major Madison Hooper and Mattie McMahan Hooper. Frank was a talented hairstylist and an excellent cook. He was a faithful member of Windy Gap Baptist Church, enjoyed going on Mission Trips and was a beloved husband, wonderful father and papaw.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dianne Seay Hooper; two sons, Bryan Hooper and wife Star and Tracy Hooper both of Franklin; two brothers, Donald Hooper and wife Kathy of Clyde and Glen Hooper and wife Rhonda of Sylva; sister, Virginia Mathis and husband Everett of Franklin; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 14, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in the Brasstown Cemetery in Jackson County, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 13, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be George Scott, Trenton Franks, Lane Hooper, Trevor Burns, Cody Hooper and Terry Litrell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Funeral Home, PO Box 1175, Franklin, NC 28744.
