Obituary for John Adam Robbins

John Adam Robbins, 90, of Franklin, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014.

Born in Effingham, IL, he was the son of the late Lambert Robbins and Bertha Combs Robbins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Alice L. Robbins, Margaret St. Clair and Bertha Hornsby. John was a US Navy Veteran and served during WWII. He attended Estatoah Wayfarer Chapel in Dillard, GA.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Doris Mae Dalrymple Robbins; their six children, Susan J. Yenner, James W. Robbins, Linda J. Robbins, Doris Louise Wuebber, Michele Louise Kreidler and Steve Garrett; three grandchildren, Elizabeth McManis, Jeremy Wuebber, Stephen Wuebber; three great-grandchildren, Conner Wuebber, Kyle Wuebber and Nathan McManis and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 19th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Pastor Ron Lindahl and Mary Knepp will officiate.

Memorial donations can be made to the Academy for Future Science in Haven, Missouri, The American Cancer Society or the Estatoah Wayfarer Chapel in Dillard, GA.
