Obituary for Joann "Ann" Blaine Brown

Joann "Ann" Blaine  Brown
Joann “Ann” Blaine Brown, 75, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her residence.

A native of Macon County, she resided most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a daughter of the late Charles Earl Blaine and Lucy Watts Blaine. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Charles Thad Blaine, and Turner Blaine; and grandson, Brandon Michael Wright.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, JB Brown; daughters: Deanna Lynn Parker and husband Bradley of Candler, and Denise Wright and husband Kenny of Fairview; granddaughters: Heather Ann Solly and husband C-Jay, Ashley Michelle Hollifield, and Amber Nicole Wright; sisters: Jean Setser of Waynesville, and Janice Peak and husband Randal of Otto; brothers: Thurman Lewis Blaine and wife Trudy of Waynesville, and Theodore Rogers “Buddy” Blaine and wife Betty of Franklin; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6 PM Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith Hutchinson and Rev. Kenny Wright officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 till 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
