Raymond  Oliver  Strait
Raymond Oliver Strait, 69, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Born in Muskegon, Michigan, he was the son of the late Lowell Alan Strait and Valma Mavis Cumner Strait. Ray was a graduate of Auburn University. He worked as a network planner for GTE and was a Realtor. He and his wife, Debby loved to travel in their RV. They spent three months traveling, going to Alaska, completing all 50 states. He attended Discover Church. Ray had a Friday morning Bible Study, and there was a small group of ladies he always bought candy for, and they called him the candy man.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debby Strait; three children, Stephanie Leibee and husband Ken and their children, Hunter and Mack of Oak Point, TX, Carolyn Schaufel and husband Dan and their children, Brandon and Brooke of Pensacola, FL, Andrea Fernandez and husband Ricky and their children, Chloe, Tyler and Connor of Garland, TX; sister, Barbara Reynolds and her two children, Eric and Whitney.

No services are planned at this time.
