Audrey “Paulette” Keener, 79, of Oakwood, GA, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Ward and Lassie Cabe Ward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Randolph Keener; daughter, Kimberly Keener and a sister, Sandra “Nikki” Ward. Paulette was a USAF veteran; retired from the USPS; member of the Eastern Star and was an avid golfer, playing in tournaments all over the southeast.

She is survived by a brother, Charlie Ward (Melba) of Franklin; five sisters, Pat Derrick (W.H.) and Tonni Ward both of Franklin, Conda Ware of Lawrenceville, GA, Kathy Hall (Perry) of Dawsonville, GA and Debbie Nix (Gary) of Lexington, SC and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
