Obituary for Anthony Joseph "Joe" Pritchett

Anthony Joseph "Joe"  Pritchett
Anthony Joseph “Joe” Pritchett, 64, of Franklin, passed away, Friday, April 6, 2018.

Born in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late Leonard Pritchett and Jeanette Goodwin Pritchett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Pritchett. Joe was a member Prentiss Church of God. He worked several years in Restaurant Management and at Fast Food Mart Exxon. He enjoyed multiple sports and meeting people.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Wanda Lou Pritchett; son, Andrew J. Pritchett of Augusta, GA; three sisters, Peggy Broughton, Doris Brown and Suzanne Pritchett all of Hephzibah, GA; three brothers, Len Pritchett, Jr. of Beach Island, SC, Rick Pritchett of North Augusta, GA, and Don Pritchett of Columbia, SC; sister-in-law, Shelley Pritchett of New Bern, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 8th at Prentiss Church of God, 59 Church Hill Lane, Franklin, NC 28734. Pastor Don Moffitt and Pastor Kevin Chapman will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Len Pritchett, Rick Pritchett, Don Pritchett, James Pritchett, Andrew Pritchett and David Norton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Shell, Gary Young, Carlos Young and Chuck Willis.
