Obituary for Mary "Kathy" Kathleen McGee
Mary Kathleen “Kathy” McGee, beloved daughter of Dr. Thomas P. McGee, Jr, and Mary Caroline Jackson McGee, died peacefully Monday, March 19, at Angel Medical Center. Kathy was 54 years old.
She radiated joy and love to her family and all who knew her.
Kathy is survived by her parents, her sister Elizabeth Anne McGee of Little Rock, AR, her brother John Eric McGee of Grenada, MS, her nephew, Hunter Thomas McGee, of Little Rock, AR, her aunts and uncles Amanda Jackson of Franklin, NC, James N. Jackson of Cleveland, TN, Mr. and Mrs. James J. McGee of Lexington, KY, Mary McGee of Lexington, KY, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hespell of Shrewsbury, MA, her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. Jonathon Jackson, of Cleveland, TN, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Hurley and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McGee of Lexington, KY, Mr. and Mrs. Chad Hespell of Alexandria, VA, and Miss Laura Hespell of Shrewsbury, MA.
Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Nelom Jackson and Mrs. Clara McGee.
Kathy enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and church activities. She loved music, especially Elvis Presley, flowers, jewelry and her dogs.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Training Pastors International, PO Box 2135, Grenada, MS 38902 or Appalachian Animal Rescue, PO Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
