Albert Harold James, 90, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018.

Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Solly James and Anna Yankay James. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, June James and a sister, Dorothy Williams. Al was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son, Kenneth James of Franklin; daughter, Laura Lapalatto (Robert) of Long Island, NY and five grandchildren, Jesse James and Jason James both of Franklin, James Lapalatto of Long Island, NY, Kyle Ledford and Kody Ledford both of Franklin.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3rd in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
