William Donald Hartman, 63, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Born in Sandusky, OH, he was the son of the late Donald and Thelma Archer Hartman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Harold Buist. William enjoyed singing with trios and playing base. He enjoyed shooting and collecting firearms, fishing and riding motorcycles. William was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and former member of Maranatha Bible Church in Van Buren, OH.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carol Hallowell Hartman; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Hartman of Findlay, OH; brother, Larry Buist of Melbourne, FL; sister, Ruth Ann Saylor of Ravenna, OH and two grandchildren, Samuel Hartman and Rebekah Mansfield.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6th at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Donnie Seagle will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2018 at Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Bill Aller, Charles Dannenbring, Ed Stone, Pete Rodewald, Alex Andreu and Jeff Wright.
