William "Bill" Jackson  Kimsey
William Jackson “Bill” Kimsey, 87, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

Born in Macon Co, he was the son of the late Arthur Felix Kimsey and Mary Leona Hopper Kimsey. Bill honorably served 21 years and retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant. He loved spending time with family and enjoyed quilting, gardening and cattle farming.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rosemary Keener Kimsey; five children, Wanda Kimsey Cummings of Beaver Lake, NE, Shirley Kimsey of Mtn. City, GA, Karen Anderson and husband Johnny of Robbinsville, NC, Kathey Watts of Franklin and William “Bill” Lyle Kimsey and wife Donna of Franklin; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 24th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Cloer will officiate with full military rites conducted by VFW Post 7339, American Legion Post 108 and the Shaw Air Force Base Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
