Condolences

Condolence From: Cindy Moss Phipps
Condolence: I am morning myself, the loss of Uncle James. My father, John Moss and he talked almost everyday, sometimes three times a day, even if it was only about the weather. Uncle James was such a loving and kind spirit, he led by example. I always looked forward to seeing or speaking with him as he was always so caring. I remember all the trips we took to see him and wondered why everyone got up so early. I got up as well because I couldn't wait for Aunt Bessie's biscuits. Mom and I watched her one morning, making sure to get the recipe, for those great biscuits. Their house was our house. We appreciated and enjoyed every minute of our visits, even if we were down in the floorboard of the car because we couldn't take Dad's cigar smoke. Comin' around those mountains in the early morning was somewhat difficult. But we wouldn't have it any other way. My condolences to his wonderful family. Uncle James will be missed greatly, I keep telling myself that he is in a far better place, but I cannot seem to fight back the tears. I pray for your peace and comfort during this difficult time. Love to this family and my Uncle James.

Condolence From: The Jack and Geneva Young family
Condolence: We will surely miss James. We always looked forward to Decoration Day, but now we'll have to be content until we meet him again on that great Decoration Day in Heaven. We were thankful we had the opportunity to visit and have prayer with him this past August......till we meet at Jesus' feet....may God comfort the Moss Family.

Condolence: To all the James Moss Family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. James was such a wonderful person. I know that he will be missed by so many people. We always enjoyed seeing him and talking to him. Heaven gained a wonderful angel. We just want to to know that each and everyone of you are so very special to us. Besides being family, more than that we consider you all such wonderful friends too. We have shared a lot of memories at school and Evitt Cemetery. The decorations will not be the same with out him. We love each and everyone of you. May the Lord bless all of you.

Condolence From: Bob Waters
Condolence: To all of James's family, I was saddened to hear of James passing. We haven't been able to be in close touch over the years due to living so far away but I still remember and look back to the nights and Sunday visits both to James's House and at Grampa Zeb and Granny Gertie's house. A lot of love and friendship was always present when the families got together. I am so sorry that my wife Barbara and I won't be able to be there to pass on our respects--Barbara just had a total knee replacement and I am recovering from a fall that severely strained the tendons and ligaments of my right knee which makes it impossible to drive any distance at all. Our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you though. Bob (Bobby) Waters.
