Obituary for Nettie "Jane" Callahan (Eller)

Nettie "Jane"  Callahan (Eller)
Nettie “Jane” Callahan, 88, of Franklin, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017.

Born in Norcross, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Greenlee Eller and Effie Louelle Greenway Eller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph P. Callahan and eight brothers and sisters. Jane was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was a Primetime Singer. She loved singing and rocking babies, camping and traveling.

She is survived by five children, Judy D. Graham of Franklin, Michael “Tony” Callahan and wife Debbie of Baldwin, GA, Richard “Rick” Callahan and wife Sue of Martin, GA, Cynthia “Cindy” Powell of Franklin and Karen Joy Glosson and husband Steve of Suwannee, GA; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 1st in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Dr. Robert Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Four Seasons Hospice – Four Seasons Development Office 571 South Allen Road Flat Rock, NC 28731.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
