Elizabeth Helen Spencer, 73, of Lakemont, GA, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017.
Born in Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Melvel Louis Spencer and Bertha Murphy Spencer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, John Michael Yeend and one brother, Ty Spencer. Elizabeth enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a member of Center for Spiritual Awareness Church in Lakemont, GA.
She is survived by one daughter, Shannon Yeend Shepherd of Williston, ND; four brothers and sisters, Diane Garcia of Jacksonville, FL, Beverly Spencer of Stewart, FL, Michael Spencer of Temecula, CA and Keith Spencer of West Palm Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Chris Shepherd, Sebastian Yeend, Kalissa Shepherd Pistoruis and Spencer Yeend; seven great grandchildren, Piper Shepherd, Marlie Shepherd, Stella Beth Pistoruis, Laura Pistoruis, Thomas Pistoruis, Lucas Yeend and Logan Yeend and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 15th at CSA Church in Lakemont, GA. There will be a gathering at the home, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a local women’s crisis center.
