Condolence: I wish to express my sympathy to the family of Ruth Semaschko O'Bryan. First Methodist Church of Hendersonville sponsored my late husband Martin Schuller to come to America as an immigrant in 1956. Ruth and Nick were a great help to him in learning English and becoming a good American citizen. He considered them to be very special friends, and I greatly appreciate all they did for him.

Condolence: Anne, Doug and I were very sorry to read about your mother. Although I never met her, Mother spoke of her often and always enjoyed her company and the time they spent together. They were two mountain women about the same age who were at WC together, so they had much in common. Even though your mother lived a full life, I know how difficult it is to give her up.
