Obituary for Ada Wilkes (Bradshaw)

Ada  Wilkes (Bradshaw)
Ada Wilkes, 91, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009.

Born in Shooting Creek, she was the daughter of the late Harve Bradshaw and Levi Smith Bradshaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wilkes who died in 1954; two sons, Johnny Wilkes and Virgle Wilkes and nine brothers and sisters. Ada was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and fishing.

She is survived by four children, Frankie Ritchie, Shirley Gragg, Willie Kay Seagle and husband Larry and Nancy Wilkes all of Otto; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 6, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Binger and Sabrina Cochran will officiate. Burial will be in the Newman’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Marty Cochran, Sammy Seagle, Tim Burch, Marvin Cunningham, Larry Seagle and 'Glenn Pitts.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
