Paul T. Annulis was born on May 28, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John Annulis and Nora Hasset Annulis. His patriotism at an early age would allow to him respond to the calling of our great nation by joining the Army where he proudly served and retired. His undeniable devotion and faithfulness to his country allowed him to further pursue a career in the United States Air Force where his diligence earned the rank of Technical Sergeant. After serving valiantly in the Korean War while in the United States Army and the Vietnam War while in the United States Air Force, Mr. Annulis honorably retired after many, long years of selfless, prideful service in the Air Force. Always working feverishly and highly regarded , Mr. Paul would go on to pursue career at the Kennedy Space Center and retire after completing many years of service to the Space Program.
Paul and Betty’s love of nature and his tinkering would allow them to retire in the beautiful town of Franklin, North Carolina where they would devote their time to the Lord’s Work and cater to their beloved dog, Gem. After much heartfelt consideration and for the love of their grandchildren, they would move to New Iberia, Louisiana (Cajun Country).
Outside of his service, his love for his country was nothing in comparison to his love for the Lord and for his family. He would say yes to the calling of our loving God and become a Grand Knight of his church parish. Although he lived the American Dream and accomplished so much, his greatest accomplishments were his unselfishness, humbleness, graciousness, his faith, and his ability to make everyone feel welcomed. He will be missed and leaves behind many cherished memories and a faith filled legacy behind. Everyone who knew him, loved him.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Heart of Hospice and to the faithful Eucharistic Ministers and Father Keith Landry.
