Obituary for Dana Fresa
Dana Fresa 57, of Highlands, passed away unexpectedly on September 14, 2017 at his home.
He was born in Clerksburg, WV on November 3, 1959 to the late Edward Karl Fresa and Diana Colombo Fresa. Dana had a passion and flare for life that was contagious; he loved painting, cooking and nature. Dana was a chef and also raised English Setters; he and his wife enjoyed training and competing his dogs in field trials. October was his favorite month, grouse hunting with close friends up north. Dana also enjoyed studying the Bible with friends at the cashiers Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness 's. Dana was a loving step father to Gregory and Shawn . His smile and kindness will be remembered by all.
He is survived by his wife, Candice Fresa and her sons Gregory and Shawn Ingwell of Highlands, NC; his mother, Diana Fresa of Georgia; four brothers, Samuel Fresa of Georgia, Mark and Michelle of Georgia, Kevin and Heather of Florida, Karl and Dawn with their children, Kitt and Kendall all of Illinois; nephew, Gabriel (son of late Michael Fresa) as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service and luncheon will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 1st at Sapphire Valley Community Center, US 64, Sapphire, NC.
