Condolences

Condolence From: Tom Rhodes
Condolence: Don was my Sunday School teacher, camp leader, and mentor in High School while attending Bethany Lutheran Church in Miami. He taught me so much about the Bible and God's grace as a knucklehead kid, and he's one of those cherished people you look back on in life and realize the great blessing of having a Godly man invest in your life. I tracked Don down about a year ago and was fortunate to communicate a heartfelt thank you. I sent him an email just a few days ago about trying to get together while I'm in NC, and am heartbroken I didn't have a chance to tell him in person how he positively influenced the trajectory of my life. I suppose I'll just have to track him down in heaven and have that conversation. Surely Don will be in the front row. To Min, Randy and Judd: your Dad holds a special place in my heart after 40 years, and it appears that he never let off the gas when it comes to influence. I'm so sorry for your loss, but let's have a reunion some day when we get to the other side!

Condolence: We are blessed to know Don and Min for a couple of decades. I first knew him as a Shaklee customer who so conscientiously watched his health as he watched the cost of the products. He was our church elder whose insights and practicality were such a blessing! His intelligence was apparent as he analyzed complicated political questions, and he was so very patriotic and courageous in speaking up for what is right. He deeply trusted God through his years of battling illness. It was this trust that gave him so much contagious optimism. We pray for God's peace and comfort for Min and the whole family.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of serving Donald many times several years ago when I was a window clerk at the Franklin post office. He was always a pleasure to talk to, and a fine example of a fine upstanding citizen. My condolences to the family.
