Obituary for Hazel Louise "Lou" Ensley (Moses)

Hazel Louise “Lou” Moses Ensley, 70, of Franklin, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Burgin Moses and Mary Lee Bingham Moses. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tasha Perkey. Lou enjoyed fishing, bingo and word search puzzles. She was a hard working woman.

She is survived by three children, Diane Waldroop and Kimberly Sarvis (David) both of Franklin and Patricia Perkey of Anderson, IN; five sisters, Virginia McCall (John), Ann Lequire, and Pat Cochran (Tom) all of Franklin, Rhonda Simmons (Randy) of Green Castle, PA and Vickie Green (John Kipkish) of Clyde, NC; four brothers, Bud Moses (Elsie) of Franklin, Donnie Moses (Beth Long) of Conyers, GA, Rickie Moses of Franklin and David Moses (Tim Barnes) of Freemont, NC; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 17, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Darian Cochran will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Monday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Perkey, Matt Sarvis, Allen Waldroop, JJ Sarvis, Johnny McGaha and Rob Burns.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Macon Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
