Obituary for Leonard Forester
Leonard A. Forester, 85, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roy and Mabel Parkes Forester. Leonard was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Gail Davis Forester who died December 27, 2013. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and an active member of Cullasaja Assembly of God.
He is survived by four children, Brandon Forester (Michaela) of Franklin; Lisa Boyd (Rob) of Boca Raton, FL; Joseph Forester (Lori) of Marco Island, FL and Rae Ann McCarthy (Art) of Williamsfield, OH; sister, Linda Bixler of San Diego, CA; thirteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Cullasaja Assembly of God.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Cullasaja Assembly of God, 6201 Highlands Road, Franklin, NC 28734 or Salt Church, 501 NE 32nd Street, Boca Raton, FL 33431.
