Virginia L. Hamilton, 89, of Franklin, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017.

Born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Barwick and Lessie Lantz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hamilton; one son, Michael Hamilton and two sisters, Evelyn Westgate and Maxine Braasch. Virginia was former owner of the Country Kitchen Restaurant.

She is survived by two children, Monte Hamilton of Franklin, and Marsha Wolfe of Missouri; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
