Geraldine Frances Drinkwater, 92, of Cullowhee, NC, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017.

Born in Excelsior Springs, MO, she was the daughter of the late V. Lewis Drew and Gladys Lucille Rouse Drew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Milligan. Geraldine enjoyed painting and wood carving. She was a member of Christ Church of the Valley in Cashiers, NC.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Earl Keith Drinkwater and one son, Scott Anthony Shannon of Franklin.

Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 16th at Christ Church of the Valley. Rev. Steve Kerhoulas will officiate. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.

The family will receive friends from 4-5:00 p.m., prior to the service at the church.
