Virginia Lenoir Reynolds  Ramey
Virginia Lenoir Reynolds Ramey, 93, of Franklin, completed her earthly journey, Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Ballard Lenoir and Lucinda Corine Huckaby Lenior. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glover Reynolds and her last husband, Russell Ramey; her son, Kenneth Leon Reynolds; five brothers, J.B., Leon, John, Benny and Bill and four sisters, Nell Harrison, Mary Wallace, Shirley Waldroop and Ada Florence Leatherwood. Virginia was a faithful member of Mount Hope Baptist Church. She had a quick wit and great sense of humor and enjoyed playing and winning rook and dominos with her family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her and was affectionately known as Nanny.

She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Reynolds Hefner Armes (Ronnie) of Franklin; Donna Lloyd who she thought of as a daughter; two sisters, Marie Holland and Jody Sellers both of Franklin; four grandchildren, Rhonda Bateman (Luke), Jason Reynolds, Jennifer Roupp (Sheldon) and Kenneth Britt Reynolds; seven great grandchildren, Kayla, Carlee, Sean, Savahna, Austin, Ryan, Ava and Grayson; one great-great grandchild, Asher; daughter in law, Diane Reynolds and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 19 at Mount Hope Baptist Church. Rev. Brian Pitts, Rev. Tracy Tallent and Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, February 18, at Macon Funeral Home.

Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.
