Obituary for Margaret A. McNutt (Mlinarcik)

Margaret A. McNutt, 95, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

Born in Monaca, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Mlinarcik and Catherine Kozar Mlinarcik. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Clarence (Mac) R. McNutt, Sr.; a son, C. Raymond (Nut) McNutt; two brothers, John Mlinarcik, George Mlinarcik and one sister, Clara Clevenger.

She lived most of her life in Salem, Ohio where she was a laundry supervisor at Salem Community Hospital. When she and her family moved to Franklin they opened Personalized Gifts, Etc. and JJ’s Corner at the Franklin Flea Market. They were in business for ten years. She was known as “Mom” of the market.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janice (Jan) Stough and Thomas R. (Rick) Stough; a granddaughter, Tracy R. Obuchowski and husband Edward; three great grandchildren, Joseph Obuchowski, Steven Obuchowski and Kaitlyn Obuchowski all of Franklin.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 23rd at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Father Tien Duong will officiate. Final resting place will be at Hope Cemetery, Salem, Ohio at a later date. No services will be held in Salem, per her request.
