Obituary for Bruce Bobby Shuler

Bruce Bobby  Shuler
Bruce Bobby Shuler, 77, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016.

Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Floyd and Edith Hall Shuler. Bruce was a U.S. Army veteran; CPA, farmer and carpenter. Bruce was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Harrietta “Hank” Hartley Shuler; sister, Revena Shuler Breedlove and husband, Gilmer of Franklin; brother, Grover Shuler and wife Kitty of Knoxville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Judson Hall and Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

Bill Shuler, Mike Shuler, Tommi Murphy, Felicity Wilhelmsen, Mike Breedlove and William Shuler will serve as Pallbearers. Eddie Beaver and Jim Brown will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Memorial donations can be made to the Hospice House Foundation, PO Box 815, Franklin, NC 28744.
