Obituary for Vincent "Vinny" A. DeBenedictis

Vincent "Vinny" A. DeBenedictis, 90, of Franklin, NC, formerly of Flower Mound, TX died December 27, 2016 at the Franklin House Assisted Living Facility in Franklin, NC.

Vinny was born on March 18, 1926 in Boston's North End, moved to Melrose MA after marrying Josephine C. Renda. He is the father of Joanne H. Carley and her husband Howard of Franklin, NC, Gail T. DeBenedictis of Flower Mound, TX and Vincent J. DeBenedictis of St. Augustine, FL. He is survived by grandchildren Kathleen Kelly of Justin, TX, and Colleen T. Boling and her husband, Dan, of Flower Mound and Kimberly DeBenedictis of Boston, MA . He was preceeded in death by his grandson John F. Kelly, and granddaughters Danielle and Renee Lemieux. Vinny was also the great-grandfather to Vincent M. and Brianna M. Mayon, and Elaine T. and Violet A. Boling and Vienna and Katya DeBenedictis. He is the brother of Louis DeBenedictis of FL and the late Mary Crescenzo, Dominic DeBenedictis, and Leonard DeBenedictis.

A memorial service will held in Flower Mound at a later date.
