Condolence From: Daisy Thom
Condolence: It was wonderful sharing our Freshman, Sophmore and Junior years together at Holy Name of Jesus Mercy, Academy. You were an angel of light even in those years. You are one of those people who shed joy, gave hope, and encouraged others. I got to meet and love because you never knew a stranger, were so caring, so sincere and so unforgetful. In more recent years it was great having you at our class reunions. You are now in a place without pain and sorrow. You will receive the many blessings God has in store for those who love Him. He will only say to you, "Well done my good and faithful Servant." Love, Your Classmate, Daisy

Condolence: Alice, It's hard to believe that you are gone. You have been like a blood sister to me. Thank you for all the wonderful times that we spent together. The many talks we had and memories we shared. You never made me feel like I wasn't part of the family, but made sure that I felt like not your sister in law, but your sister. I was so fortunate to have you in my life. Please give hugs to all our other Angels and give my baby girl a kiss for me. You will forever be in my heart. I love you and I know that you will always look over us. Love, hugs and kisses to heaven. Your sister Diane.

My Aunt, My GodMother, My Special Angel In Heaven!

Thank you for always being there for me and treating me as your own daughter. You were the best God”Mother” a girl could ask for. Thank you for all you did for me, the vacations, the camping trips, and especially always being there for my Mama. You are already terribly missed and will never, ever be forgotten! I love you! You will always have a piece of my heart and will be with me always!

Dear Sweet Alice, "Everyone's Alice in Wonderland"

You may be gone from this earth, but you will never be forgotten!

You were a wonderful wife, an excellent mother, grandmother and great-grandmother! But most of all an excellent sister! To me you were not just a sister, but an awesome friend and confidant! Alice, you were “MY EVERYTHING”! You were always there for me in good times, bad times, and everything in between and not just for me but everyone you came in contact with, You were "Our Rock"!

After Mama left us, you promised her and me you would always be here to help fill her void, and you did! I will miss our talks that we had every day. Up until the very end you kept that promise continuing to help me hold on and be strong. You truly are “The Wind Beneath My Wings” You have always given me courage to hold on and go on. You will be in my heart forever! You were always there for me. I could lean on you when I was not strong --- when you were not strong you could lean on me. Now you will be our “Special Guardian Angel in Heaven” and I can assure you besides that special fun you will be having with Mom, all of our other family members and all of your friends, of which there were so many. You will still be giving out advice and looking out for everyone. That is just who you are!

Our lives seemed intertwined growing up as children – Then married and children of our own. You were always busy with your own husband, children and friends, but never too busy to also be there for me and my children when we needed you.

I will always Remember YOU with a Smile, for I know that is how you will Remember ME! Thank you for allowing me to be with you to share the last eight months of your life. I love you NOW, ALWAYS AND FOREVER!

Your Loving and Very Grateful Sister,
Janie

P.S.
I am very grateful and thankful to GOD, because you left us very peacefully. I guess the Lord has a special heavenly assignment for you because your work on earth was done so well and completely. I love you, Alice, and my heart is heavy because I will miss you dearly!
I Love You!!
Janie

“YOU LEFT US WAY TOO SOON!”

Condolence: My dearest Alice,
Although most of our lives were spent apart I always had a special place in my heart for you. You were my smiling cousin. Always a happy face and a kind heart. I never really met your family and only saw you at Mommee's house, Weddings and funerals. But I always did love you and always will. May your family stay strong until we all meet again in Heaven. Say hello to everyone for me. May you rest in peace. In Jesus holy name.
Amen.

Condolence: My dear friend Alice,
You know you were one of my dearest friends. You were a wonderful mother. You raised three beautiful girls with different personalities and you were always there to lend an ear and give them the attention they each needed. Wayne, turned out to be a strong brother, husband and son who learned how to deal with a house full of women. Be proud of what you accomplished as a mother.
What I will miss the most is talking to you. At the end, you could not verbalize, but "my Alice was in there" and I would talk to you just like old times. God took your voice but he never took your ability to understand what was being said to you. I know, even in the end, you a understood and could feel the love each person had for you. I really thought it was a bad dream that God had picked you to be taken from us. My vacations will never be the same. It was difficult to go to Italy without you and Wayne, as you sat there fighting for your life.
Alice, you have been a wonderful friend and the good memories we shared will be the things that will get me through the hard times. I will never forget our camping days, date nights to see Midnight Special and thank you for sharing Skippy with us so we could enjoy dancing as much as you did. Thanks for sharing and allowing us to spend time with your beautiful family at your New Year Eve parties and welcoming us to eat on New Year's Day.
You were the one who taught me how to pack and be prepared for anything away from home.
Katrina took you away from us. It made you bitter about the place that was your home. I understand why you felt the way you did but I hate that you left us. Yet it brought you to a place that you loved. You were able to enjoy your retirement in the mountains which was yor dream.
I will always love you and miss you. Thank you for the times we shared and thank you for sharing your family. I will continue to talk to you cause I know "the Alice I know is still in there."
