Condolences

Condolence From: Doris Slaughter
Condolence: I met Amy when she came to work at the Gwinnett Medical System in the Dietary Department. She was a joy to be around.
We ate lunch together when we happened to get the same lunch break . I loved hearing about her special Olympic medals. She was always excited to tell us about them and would wear an occasional one to show us. Many of the other anesthetists met Amy and would share her table if space was left. The guys would make her laugh when they told her she ate more than them. Boy could she eat !!! and make good choices with her food.
One year on a special birthday we ordered a huge birthday cake in her favorite colors and I think everyone who was eating lunch at the time came by to wish her a happy birthday and share her cake.
I had the opportunity to take care of her when she had a medical procedure at GMC. I met John and Susan at that time and I hope adequately expressed our love of Amy to them. You and Amy's entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. I just learned of her death when I picked up an old unread newspaper (Anderson Independent Mail ) last evening.

Condolence: I went to high school with Amy in Highlands, North Carolina. As a Member of the Class of 1987 I wanted to let her family know we all loved her and thought of her often over the years. She was a treasure and blessed our teenage years with her smiles and love. She will never be forgotten. My prayers are with you. An angel truly walked the earth while Amy was with us. Condolences to the Family.

Condolence: John and Susan and family: I was saddened to hear of Amy's passing. I remember her fondly and have clear memories of her spending summer days at the Highlands Rec Park with so many of us kids hanging out there so many years ago. She was sweet, gentle and funny. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: My heart aches for the Bauknight family to lose, after just 51 short years, your precious loved one, Amy, way too young, way too soon. Words are so limited that can give comfort, so I would like to share with you a beautiful scripture where Jesus makes us a wonderful promise at John 5:28, which says: "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..." . Our heavenly father promises us to do away with man's worst enemy, death at Rev. 21: 4 which reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has provided me with hope and strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6: 40 tells us: "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day". I offer my sincere condolences to the family. Feel free to contact me at my email address: myranj@centurytel.net May these promises give you hope, comfort and peace in your time of grief.

Condolence: My heart is hurting for you all. I have thought of Amy many times over the years and will always have sweet memories of her and your family. Some of my best memories of Amy were riding the school bus that my brother drove early in the mornings. I remember lots of giggles and it was the best way to welcome every day! She was sunshine that couldn't be covered by clouds. She was such a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul. I'm so sorry for your loss. Forevermore, any time I feel the blessing of sunshine in my face, I will think of Amy.

Condolence: Sorry to hear about Amy. I can still to this day see her smiling bubbly face and hear her saying "Good Morning, Brooks." I just want your family to know that I am thinking about you all and that I believe that Amy is continuing to smile down on us and watching over us and helping to spread a little sunshine over us. God Bless during this time.
