Obituary for Mildred Anderson (Ledford)
Mildred Ledford Anderson, 89, of Franklin, passed away June 21, 2016.
Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Zemery Ledford and Mamie Sanders Ledford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Anderson; three sisters, Jeanette Williamson, Ruth Cowart and Ann Patterson and a brother, Dennis Ledford. She was a member of First Assembly of God. Mildred was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Diann Cook of Virginia Beach, VA; granddaughter, Teresa Reed Adkins; great granddaughter, Robin Woodard; two brothers, Gene Ledford and Bryant Ledford both of Franklin; four sisters, Sue Ramsay and Audrey Brabson both of Franklin, Pat Lowe of Virginia Beach, VA and Evelyn Tallent of Atlanta, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Chapman, Rev. Don Moffitt and Rev. Frank Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in the Union United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 24, at Macon Funeral Home.
