Elvira Friederich Miller, 90, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016.

Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of Barbara Kayser and Frank Friederich of NY, and the wife of the late John Miller, who passed away in 2001. She was Catholic by faith.

Elvira enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, watching game shows and spending time at Macon County’s Senior Services.

She is survived by her only child, John Miller, and is wife, Susan Miller, of Franklin, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
