Betty  Crawford (Myers)
Betty Myers Crawford, 86, of Franklin, NC, went to heaven to join her heavenly father on Monday, April 18, 2016.

Born in Franklin, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Lawrence and Bertha Cope Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2003 by her husband of 55 years, William Grady “Bill” Crawford, Jr.; brothers, Charles Philip “Casey” Myers. She was a member of Longview Baptist Church. Betty was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She always had a smile on her face for everyone and she spent her life devoted to her family.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Pam Crawford (Bill McConnell) of Franklin, NC, Dana Crawford Bresnahan (Ed) of Morganton, NC, Gina Crawford Falish (Dave Uhle) of Charlotte, NC; two sons, William G. Crawford, III and Lawrence Keith Crawford (Debbie) both of Franklin, NC; two sisters, Sue Stewman (Ronnie) of Pisgah Forest, NC, Dixie Holland (Joe) of Franklin, NC; three brothers, Bob Myers (Shirley) of Franklin, NC, George Myers (Betty) of Roswell, TX, John Howard “Ick” Myers of Bloomfield, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Mark W. Cook (Missy) of Franklin, NC, Justin T. Gibson (Nicole) of Marietta, GA , Landon C. Gibson (Keisha) of Franklin, NC, Amberly L. Crawford of Franklin, NC, Kelsey Crawford of Franklin, NC, Valerie Falish and Victoria Falish both of Charlotte, NC; five great grandchildren, Manigault A. Cook, MacKenzee W. Cook, Gage Smith, Lawson C. Gibson, Gradyn W. Gibson all of Franklin, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Longview Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. John Hartley will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Following the graveside service, a celebration of Betty’s life will be held at the Greenway Pavilion on Ulco Drive, all are invited to join the family.

Pallbearers will be Justin Gibson, Landon Gibson, Mark Cook, MacKenzee Cook, Bill McConnell and Ed Bresnahan.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Franklin House Activity Fund Director, 186 One Court Drive, Franklin, NC 28734.
