Obituary for Wanda Day (Stover)

Wanda Mae Day, 83, of Andrews, NC, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016.

Born in Suches, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Stover and Ethel Woody Stover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters. Wanda was a loving, sharing, kind woman who was also courageous and resourceful and will be remembered by many whose lives she touched. She loved yard sales, flowers, people and God and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her special friend, Oliver “Red” Wooten; son, Steven and wife Diane Day of Franklin; daughter, Cindy Ann Day of Andrews; four grandchildren, Dixie Morgan, Melissa Day, Alexander Day and Noah Mansker and several nieces and nephews.

At Mom’s request, there will be no services, but remember her if she touched your life or someone you knew.
