Carl  Edgar  Nesbit Sr.
Carl Edgar Nesbit, Sr., 75, of Otto, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015.

Born in Gary, Indiana, he was the son of the late Kennedy and Jennie Goodrich Nesbit. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Joan Nesbit. Carl was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran; master barber and worked for Walmart.

He is survived by five children, Joseph Nesbit (Deborah), Richard Nesbit, Dawn Nations (Ronnie), Kevin Nesbit and Carl Nesbit Jr. (Tina); fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 19th at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald Gibson will officiate. Military Honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Monday, at Macon Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the Mission Rathbun House, C/O Mission Foundation, 890 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, NC 28803.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
