Shirley Rae  Petersen (Paulson)
Shirley Petersen, 82, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015.
Born in Sycamore, IL, she was the daughter of the late John Paulson and Garnet Adkins Paulson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Petersen; a son, Tim Petersen and a brother, John Paulson. Shirley was a member of Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Cantrell and husband John of Franklin; three grandchildren, Josh Cantrell, Eric Cantrell and Emily Pressley; six great grandchildren, Abe, Olivia, Wyatt, Ava, Audrey and Graham and several nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service will be held in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Greg Rogers will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29th at Macon Funeral Home.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
