Condolence From: Bob Comer
Condolence: I had the privilege and honor to work with Archie on over 50 railroad crossing crashes, 2003 - 2005. Archie was one of the most intelligent, honest and trustworthy people I have ever met. I so glad to work with him on his "Secrets" book. Archie taught me so much about how to conduct an accident investigation. He was THE national expert on crashes at railroad crossings. I will never forget Archie and the invaluable education I received from him as I took him to crossings in at least 10 states. Rest in Peace. Bob

Condolence: A lot of men, that I admired while growing up, have passed away this year. Archie was one. To Pat, Tricia, and the whole family, you are in my prayers as you both grieve and celebrate.

Condolence From: Levi and Shali Harville (Grandson and wife)
Condolence: My grandfather was one of the most kind, humble, intelligent men that I have ever known. For all of his accomplishments and achievements I never once heard him brag. For all of his intelligence I never once heard him put someone down for not knowing something. For all of his medical issues that he faced in life, I never once heard him complain. He was so gracious, and that was truly from his love for the Lord. In everything that he did you could see his love and devotion to the Lord and he has woven that dedication to the Lord into the fabric of our family. His character was unwavering, his love for his family was rock solid, and his dedication to his business was unprecedented. He will be truly missed, but I know that he is not suffering anymore and I know that he is in Heaven with the Lord. The most inspiring thing about my Grandfather is that he was the same man in all facets of his life. He was kind, caring, humble, and intelligent whether he was on the job site or in the classroom teaching the word of God. He was a very passionate follower of Christ and I am glad he has passed that passion down to the family. He was a great role model and we will truly miss him. His legacy will last for decades. I love you Grandpa but I know that I will see you again someday!

Condolence: So thankful for that Sunday morning when Pat tapped me on the shoulder and invited us to visit the Burnham Class. Archie first of all was the ultimate Bible teacher and Pat added her hospitable grace...I long for that class even today 20 years later. then I was blessed to be Archie's Secretary for 19 years. His integrity, his work ethic, knowledge, experience were exceptional and known nation wide. His contribution to traffic safety is beyond measure. then there were all the Bible lessons and books...what an honor I had to type those lessons...hope some seeped in ! My " fringe benefits were working with Trisha, working all those years in her and Jeff's home...we shared our joys, tears, and many prayers. Pat always had a verse for my needs she had been my Titus 2 example...a faithful helpmate. God worked mightily in a small tap on the shoulder.

Condolence: With all the difficulties my dad experienced, he never gave up, he never felt sorry for himself and he never complained. He let God use those difficulties to make him a stronger person. I am so thankful that God picked me to be his daughter. His example of loving my mom and his family for over 56 years is a precious treasure. He was faithful, kind and good to not only us but to everybody that he met. He left us a legacy! His character has been woven into the fabric of our lives. I know that God said, "Well done, thy good and faithful servant." You finished the course well, Dad. I love you more than words can express. And I will always be a daddy's girl.

Condolence: What my children and I knew of Mr. Burnham was nothing less than knowing of a remarkable man that had led and raised a remarkable family. We were blessed to be neighbors and friends of the Harville family for many years...my children growing up with theirs. Over the years my children had the opportunity to be around Mr. and Mrs. Burnham for special occasions. The love he and his family have for God is amazing and contagious. It was truly a blessing to have known Mr. Burnham.
