Obituary for David Roy Brabson

David Roy  Brabson
David Roy Brabson, 57, of Otto, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015.

Born in Macon Co, he was the son of the late Robert L. Brabson and Alice Christine Curtis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Brabson. David was a member of the Junaluskee Masonic Lodge #145 and Coweeta Baptist Church. He loved working on small engines and helping his neighbors.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Doris Murray Brabson; three step-children, Samantha Carey of Lavonia, GA, Ricky W. Crozier of Toccoa, GA and Thomas Crozier of East Denaly, GA; brother, Gary Brabson and sister, Mary Ruth Ledford both of Franklin; niece, Gina Gribble; nephews, Duane Brabson and Billy Ledford, three great nieces; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Coweeta Baptist Church. Rev. Davis Hooper and Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate. Masonic rites will be conducted by Junaluskee Masonic Lodge #145.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2 PM, thirty minutes prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park Bldg. 1, Asheville, NC 28801 or the Masonic-Eastern Star Home for Children, Attention: Ron Giesselmann, 2415 North Main Street, PO Box 1327, Fremont, NE 68026.
