Obituary for Amber Louise Stiwinter (Wooddall)

Amber Louise Stiwinter, 87, widow of Glen Stiwinter, Sr., passed away on June 18, 2015, after a long illness and spending two weeks at Eckerd Living Center in Highlands. For years, she was loyally cared for by her son, Glen, Jr., of the home.
Louise was born December 10, 1927 to Johnnie Wooddall and his wife, Jessie Moss Woooddall. After Jessie’s death when Louise was 18 days old, Louise was raised by her aunt and uncle, Sallie and Johnnie Barnes, who she called “Mama” and “Daddy”. She called her father “Papa”.

In addition to her son, Glen Jr., Louise is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Sally Derrick of Clyde and Mrs. Eunice Deitz and husband Joe of Sylva and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 20th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
