Condolence From: Lina Sanders-Johonson
Condolence: She was a "Gold Star." I will remember Betty for her pleasing personality and concern for others. It was Betty who was responsible for building my interest in working toward the first NCRSP
Gold Star Award. Because of sickness in her family she never got to evaluate the project from my county. I will never forget her desire and williness to help others grow. May she rest in peace.

Condolence: Betty Huffman was one of the kindest human beings I have ever met. I never heard her utter a negative word about anyone. She always made encouraging comments to anyone struggling to earn a gold star or meet an elusive deadline. She certainly will be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her or worked with her in any capacity. My sincerest condolences to her family members.
