Guy Winston  Cook
Guy Winston Cook went home to be with the Lord March 27, 2015, at the age of 63 surrounded by his family. He was born April 14 in Coral Gables, FL to Winston "Wink" and Sarah Cook. Guy and his brother Gary were the first set of twins to be born at Doctor's Hospital.

Guy graduated from Coral Gables High School and went on to work in the construction industry for 40+ years. Guy was a master craftsman and a jack of all trades! He married his beautiful bride Ana "Connie" Cook on March 30, 1985 and they had 3 sons. They moved to Franklin, NC in 2006 and Guy began work with Highlands Biological Station. Wherever Guy worked, he made lifelong friends.

Guy loved spending time tinkering in his shop and working on his VW. Planting in his garden and tending to his farm animals with Joey his son was one of his favorite things. Anyone that knew Guy knew that he was a lifelong Republican and always had a joke to tell. Guy had a heart of gold and would help anyone out in need. If you needed it built or fixed, just call Guy!

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, 4 sons Guy Jr., Jonathan, Joey, Jacob, Daughter Marcella Cowart, Daughter In-law's Michelle, Jenny, Son In-law Robert Cowart, Grandchildren Timothy Cook, Brandon Cowart, Amanda Cook, Christopher Cowart, Harley Cook, Ryan Cowart & Sienna Cook also 2 brothers and 2 sister and many, many friends! He was preceded in death by a sister.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on April 4th at Macon Funeral Home. Reception will follow at Trimont Christian Academy. If you would like to donate food, please drop off at Trimont, between 12:00-12:45.
