Obituary for Connie Sue Randall (Flatt)

Connie Sue Randall, 70, of Benton, IL, died Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in Franklin, NC.

Mrs. Randall was born on July 4, 1944, in Christopher, IL the daughter of Dallas and Pauline (Foster) Flatt, She married Ivan Randall on December 31, 1996 and he proceeded in her death.

Connie was a member of the Third Baptist Church in West Frankfort, IL. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Connie was proud of her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and watching the girls play basketball.

Surviving relatives include children, Bobbi Drew and husband Darren of Benton, IL and Chad Carney and wife Elizabeth of Benton, IL; six grandchildren, Paige Riechman and husband Shaun, Jesse Drew and wife Shayna, Makala Carney, Cali Carney, Emily Watkins and Batista Willett; five great grandchildren, MaKenna, Daisy, Ella, Travis and Jourdan; a brother, Robert Flatt and wife Marjorie; her best friend, Carolyn Carter; a special friend, Grechen Bradley; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015, at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton, IL. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor James Kerley officiating. Burial will be in the Jackson Grove Cemetery, Benton, IL.

Memorial contributions may be made to Third Baptist Church in West Frankfort, IL and will be accepted at the funeral home.
