Obituary for Donald Ray Barnes

Donald Ray Barnes, 84, of Franklin, passed away December 1, 2014.

Born in Salem, Oregon, he was the son of the late Lloyd Eugene Barnes and Grace Vivian Robertson Barnes. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran; member of First United Methodist Church and retired from Montgomery Ward.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Blake Barnes; two sons, Michael Robertson Barnes and wife DeAnna of Aurora, CO and Gregory Ray Barnes and wife Andrea of Vail, AZ; two brothers, Clifton Barnes and Kenneth Barnes both of Oregon; three grandchildren, Joshua Barnes, Kelly Barnes and Stacy Gibbons; sister-in-law, Betty Dieckmann of Franklin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 6, at First United Methodist Church. Rev. David Beam will officiate.
