Obituary for Stella Marie Snyder (King)
Stella Marie Snyder, 92, of Atlanta, GA, Franklin, NC and Tampa, FL. Our loving wife and mother passed away in Atlanta on Wednesday, Nov.26, 2014.
She was born in Akron, Ohio on November 21, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Glenn Snyder, married for 59 years.
She is survived by her loving family, son Larry Glenn Snyder of Newberry, FL, daughter Connie Lynn Lashbrook of Largo, FL and Franklin, NC, daughter Carla Jean Snyder of Peachtree Corners, GA ,sister Norma Hendricks of Chapel Hill, TN , sister June Bori of Northridge, CA , 4 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
At various times she worked at Anderson Windows, Maas Brothers, and managed rental apartments in Tampa. She volunteered at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Tampa, Bethel United Methodist Church in Franklin, Angel Hospital gift shop in Franklin, and Franklin United Methodist Church, where she was a member. She loved all types of needlework, calligraphy, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, word searches, and reading books on her Kindle.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date in Franklin, NC.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
